NJCDD works to promote the goals and objectives in its five-year plan by offering grants to organizations and programs that are innovative in providing services to people with developmental disabilities.

NJCDD selects programs to support, new, creative, and sustainable programs that broaden opportunities for people with developmental disabilities in New Jersey. The following is a list of the programs and organizations that are currently receiving grants from the NJCDD.

NJCDD’s Community Innovation Projects (CIP) encourage new and innovative activities designed to bring about meaningful local change. Funding up to $10,000 for 12 months is available.

The Council has funding available to help New Jersey residents with developmental disabilities and their families attend conferences, seminars, and other advocacy training and information-building activities they may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend.

The NJCDD certifications and assurance are a compilation of Federal certification and assurance requirements and current expectations concerning the responsibilities of the NJCDD grant applicants.
