The Regional Family Support Planning Council (RFSPSC) provides a venue for parents and family members of people with developmental disabilities to exchange knowledge and information about family support services. Members advocate for families and individuals with developmental disabilities at the local and state level on issues that directly impact their lives.

RFSPC members advise DDD and CSOC on how the State can best meet the needs of families and individuals with developmental disabilities. Family members of people with developmental disabilities are encouraged to serve on an RFSPC separated by county.

New Jersey Partners in Policymaking. is a leadership development and advocacy education program for adults with developmental disabilities (over age 21) and family members of children and transition-age youth.
