Navigating Systems
Join us on September 24 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM for a free, virtual training designed to support youth (ages 14–20) and their families as they prepare for the transition from school to adult life.
This session will offer a clear roadmap and practical guidance for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with co-occurring mental health and behavioral health needs.
Hosted by Allies, Inc., a partner of the Woods System of Care, this training is part of a current grant project funded by the New Jersey Council on Developmental Disabilities. The focus is on empowering families with knowledge and resources to navigate complex systems and advocate effectively for their loved ones.
This work is supported by the New Jersey Council on Developmenta Disabilities, in part by grant number 2301NJSCDD, from the U.S. Administration for Community Living (ACL), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Washington, D.C. 20201 as part of a financial assistance award totaling $2,168,166.00 with 85% funded by ACL/HHS and 15% funded by the State of NJ. Grantees undertaking projects with government sponsorship are encouraged to express freely their findings and conclusions.
