I was looking through the news this week for ideas. There were numerous articles about disabilities and developmental disabilities. They touched on a broad range of issues, many of which we may discuss in more detail in the weeks and months to come.

Hospital Visitation Policy
Hospitals are required to allow a designated support person to be with’ the disabled patient, in both the emergency room and during hospitalization, regardless of the reason for the hospitalization, for patients for whom a support person has been determined to be medically necessary.
