The Supportive Housing Association (SHA) of NJ funded a project focused on “Realizing a Shared Vision for Advocacy in New Jersey through Education, Empowerment, and Leadership Development”. The goal of this project was to advance New Jersey’s practices/performance in the provision of housing for all individuals with developmental disabilities in order that people with IDD and their families are empowered by new research (Best Practices Report) to advocate for recommendations to improve the housing and service delivery system.Building the Foundation for Housing, Services, and Supports: Best Practices Opportunities The funding period runs from October 1, 2019 until September 31, 2020.
